Why we exist
A child who cannot read the question cannot answer it.
Most children who struggle at school are not struggling with the subject. They are struggling with the way it arrives — text that will not hold still, a pencil that will not cooperate, numbers that swap places between the page and the working.
How it works
Four steps, in this order.
The order matters. We do not start teaching until we know what we are teaching into.
- 01
Talk to us
A conversation, by phone or WhatsApp, about what you are seeing at home and what school has said. No cost and no assessment yet — we are working out whether we are the right fit.
- 02
Assess
A working assessment of reading, writing and number, plus any reports you already have. We are looking for the last point at which the ground was solid.
- 03
Teach one-to-one
A plan written for this student, taught by one teacher who stays with them. Sessions are paced to the child, not to a term calendar.
- 04
Review with you
Regular review against the plan, with progress described in terms you can act on. Where a student is exam-bound, we prepare the evidence for access arrangements.
Who teaches here
The teacher who assesses your child is the teacher who teaches them.
Every student is assigned one specialist teacher who stays with them across the programme, so nobody has to explain themselves twice.

Roles describe how teaching is organised. Names, photographs and biographies come from the school — none have been invented here.
Tell us what you are seeing.
A diagnosis is not required to start. Call the school, send a message on WhatsApp, or book an assessment and we will take it from there.
